Our Process is Simple

Request your appointment online by clicking the button above.

We’ll contact you to to schedule the appointment.

 

Once scheduled, we will confirm within 24 hours and then again the day before the appointment.

Be sure to have your previous dentist to to send over any records and xrays you had on file there and bring a list of any medications you take (if you didn’t include them in your online paperwork) and any removable dental appliances you have.

 

Your new patient appointment will consist of a comprehensive evaluation and a full mouth series of xrays, after which we will diagnose any necessary treatment, determine what type of cleaning you require, and present you with a treatment plan that details your copays or other out of pocket costs.

 

During this appointment, we examine your entire mouth, not just your teeth. This helps us detect infections, gum diseases, or even oral cancers.  We can also indicate markers for diabetes, lung and heart disease. 

 

At the conclusion of your visit, we will submit any pre-authorizations needed to your insurance company and schedule your next appointment! We look forward to establishing you as a patient at Gentle Dental!

What to bring to your appointment:

  • Insurance cards and a photo identification
  • Any dentures, appliances, bridges or retainers
  • Recent dental X-Rays (within 6 months) if you have them
  • Complete information about your medical and dental health history
  • A list of your current medications
  • A way to pay for co-pays and out of pocket costs

Your first appointment will include:

  • Checking every single tooth, plus your gums, tongue and cheeks.
  • Cleaning above and below your gums to remove built-up plaque and tartar. Then we will polish and floss your teeth.
  • Taking X-Rays of your entire mouth to diagnosis any non-visible issues
  • Talking about your oral health and make sure you know the basics of brushing and flossing and tell you if there are any problems, like a cavity or signs of gum disease.
  • Making a plan for taking care of additional procedures or treatment.
